The Nation We Live In's chapters, essays and short stories are not afraid to grapple, indulge, and intermix with contentious, serious and contemporary topics. Feel free to scour this book's chapter list and index to get a feel for the variety and fun and legitimate themes this book joyously covers. The author is a happy-go-lucky fellow and writes from a progressive, optimistic and forward thinking mindset. Travel stories are interjected within this book to hopefully give the reader context and fresh geographical viewpoints, from within our nation's continental lines. The unobstructed and creative writing in each chapter stands on its own and speaks for itself. Perhaps reading The Nation We Live In will elicit new thoughts within you about how to experience the United States of America. Regardless of how one person or the general public perceives this book, it was a pleasure to use the constitution's first freedom of speech amendment to release it. I'd genuinely like to thank you for your time, attention, reader eyeballs and book buying patronage.

George Vance McGee is a liberal arts University of Texas graduate and retains a zeal and continued lust for life. His day job involves working as a full time real estate agent in Austin, Texas. His moonlight hobby is blogging, writing and book creating. As a fleeting thirty-something and Xennial born between Generation X and the Millennials, this book is how he views, The Nation We Live In.

    It was a Success! The Lone Star Book Festival 5.29.2021 was fantastic!

    The Lone Star Book Festival in the Downtown Square of Seguin, Texas today was a SUCCESS! The Indie Authors and I had a friendly, cool wholesome meal @the Power Plant Restaurant and Venue Friday night. Good times all around. The Book Festival Today had roughly 50 or so individual author, music, and art tents. All were surrounding a well manicured Seguin downtown square park with a beautiful fountain. The  streets were  blocked off, and the visiting patrons and book inquisitor guests were gracious and welcoming. The guests even bought books too. Multiple fellow authors told me they sold 15 books or more. The day started off cool, overcast and drizzly, but by 11 am or 12 noon there were blue skies and sunshine. Thanks to BookPeople for the bookmarks, and BookPeople Bumper stickers. There were so many visitors, they all got taken. ---gvm
