    I am a collector of signed books, this coupled with the staff recommendation led me to believe I had possibly found a new author worth reading. I’d never heard of him but gave it a try. Whoops!
    This “travel” book was perhaps the worst thing I’ve ever read. It reads like a narcissistic ex-frat boy reminiscing about how cool he was. There is no structure, no progression/pace. The chapters are standalone stories (“when I was in NYC, I modeled and got girls”). To be fair, I’m paraphrasing here but it’s an accurate synopsis of that chapter and his playboy swagger is evident throughout the first half or so of the book (I assume it cont’d).
    This self published train wreck is an exercise in verbal masturbation inexplicably listed as a travel book.

    If you want to save thirteen bucks, go to your HS reunion and listen to the cool guys talk about how cool they used to be. At least then you won’t be distracted by the author’s insistence on capitalizing random words (ie. “Book Author”, seemingly as a means of adding emphasis). Has serious editing issues, from failure to maintain tense, poor diction/syntax, to simple capitalization errors.
    So bad, so Very Bad. No surprise this was self-published. He couldn’t have thought this story-book would sell. My guess is he just wanted to call himself an author and churned out this garbage.
    Come to find out he’s paid to publish a couple other books that have sold, collectively, under ten copies. One Amazon review said “makes great bird-cage liner.” Again, to be fair, I didn’t come close to finishing.
    The author sounds like a fun guy, but his writing is embarrassing and it is painfully obvious that he doesn’t read.
    Before he decides to write another book, my suggestion would be to Read.
